This Block on Board (BOB) die allows you to cut all of the shapes you need in just one pass to make a two-color LeMoyne Star block. The GO! LeMoyne Star - 9" Finished die is designed with no Y-seams which makes a traditionally advanced block great for all skill levels! Get creative and make your LeMoyne Stars scrappy or rotate the units for a unique design.

Cut Size: Two 3 1/8"W x 3 1/8"H (7.9 cm x 7.9 cm) half square triangles, Two 2 3/8"W x 2 3/8"H (6 cm x 6 cm) half square triangles, Two 45 degree diamonds with 3 3/8" sides (8.7 cm).

Finished Size: Creates 9" finished blocks. Includes seam allowance and dog-eared corners for easy piecing.

Die Board Size: 10 in. x 10 in. (25.4 cm x 25.4 cm)

How to Die Cut 2-Color LeMoyne Star Quilt Blocks:

For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller.

• TIP: To create a 2-color LeMoyne Star Block: Cut four layers at a time with two layers of the first color, fabric right sides up and two layers of a second color, wrong sides up.
• Cut 7 3/4" x 6 3/4" rectangles. Layer two layers of the same color right sides up and two layers of a second color wrong sides up on the blades and cut. For a 2-color design, three cuts across the width of fabric yield enough pieces for three complete blocks; and one yard of 40" wide fabric in each color will yield 10 blocks.

Storage: Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).

Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Die Tips:

• With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
• Use cutting mats that matches size of each die.
• For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
• Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
• Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
• For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
• Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
• It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
