Finally a color class for Quilters! This class focuses on color, including discussions about hue, shade, tint, value and tone. You will learn how to pick fabrics that contrast or complement each other. Lisa will help you understand cool and warm colors, primary, complementary and analogous colors and how to use them to choose fabrics and make your quilts even more beautiful. You will learn how to achieve that dramatic color contrast to give you that “WOW” factor with your quilt. You will also learn basic machine appliqué techniques using blanket or zig zag stitch on your sewing machine. Including when and how to pivot, how to achieve that perfect stitch, and how to avoid skipped stitches. During the class, you will create a beautiful sample color quilt to take home and hang on your wall!
