This class will teach two forms of cut and swap “recipes” for blocks in a quilt you will design. The techniques were inspired by Sandi Cummings, in a class she taught based on her book, Thinking Outside The Block. One block will be rectangular with interior straight lines and the other will contain inset circles. Susan will also teach how to set in a perfect pieced circle using Cheryl Phillips Cut A Round ruler. Other “recipes” for blocks will be discussed and, of course, you can design your own. Class fee includes a hand-out with illustrated instructions for making this type of block.
