Take your Sashiko skills to a new level.  In this class you will learn how to transfer traditional Sashiko patterns and create the first in a series of placemats for your table.  We will transfer a Sashiko fan pattern to cloth using your choice of a traditional Japanese Hera marker, marking pens, transfer paper or stabilizer.  You have a choice of using wholecloth or pre-pieced Japanese fabrics for your placement.  Pattie will also show you a new way of using the backing cloth for binding instead of traditional binding. Then we will spend some stitching time so you can get a start on your new project.
