Students will learn the basics of quilt making: rotary cutting and safety, sewing an accurate ¼” seam, and reading pattern instructions.
You'll learn to make the following blocks:
Rail Fence
Log Cabin
Jacob’s Ladder
Friendship Star with 4-patch corners
Ohio Star
Sawtooth Star with a Log Cabin Center
Students will learn how to square up their blocks, add sashing with cornerstones and add borders; prepare their quilt backing and assemble the quilt by sandwiching the back, batting and completed top.
