This class will teach you the basics of woven Sashiko stitches called Kuguri-Sashi.  Pattie will supply the fabric needed and she will teach you how to stitch a basic grid pattern.  Then we will weave 6 simple patterns to make a sampler of Kuguri-sashi that you can turn into a small wall hanging or table mat.   This is a good next step class for anyone with beginning Sashiko experience.  If your Sashiko stitches are rusty, don’t worry.  We will do a quick brush up on the stitching technique.
