Quilt Judge Training course

This course is an intensive two-day training course for aspiring quilt judges and for quilt judges wishing to sharpen their skills.

The course teaches how to provide meaningful feedback for quilters on their creative journey.  It focuses on comment formulation through extensive hands-on practice. 

This training teaches best practices and how to engage in quilt judging.

Prospective judges are encouraged to seek experience in the judging process prior to the training, e.g. planning, scribing, assisting, observing, shadowing.

Candidates should be able to endure the physical rigors of a full day of judging with minimal breaks.


Registrants will be requested to complete a questionnaire.

Price does not include food or lodging.
Lodging information will be provided to attendees at a later date.

Cancellations before January 25, 2025, will receive a 50% refund if we can fill the spot. Cancellations after January 25, 2025, will not receive a refund.
