Emerald Dress/Top
Join Mel for making the Emerald Dress from Made by Rae. Emerald is a simple shift dress or top designed to offer comfort in the summer heat. The garment is composed of four main panels and is finished with facings, which highlight the elegant V-shaped neckline and curved hem. Pockets or a sash can be added to the dress version (optional). The pattern includes women's sizes xxs - xl & plus sizes 1-5. You do not need garment sewing experience, however you MUST know how to sew to take this class.
Session 1: A quick class where we will discuss fit, fabric selection, making a muslin and tracing the pattern. We will not be sewing this day, however you should have your pattern and preferably have your measurements written down for us to plan for the size you want to make. You should cut your fabric pieces prior to the next session.
Session 2: Sew your dress!
