Learn To Sew: #1 Drawstring Bag

In this workshop you will learn all the basics of the timeless craft of sewing.
First, you will learn about the machine and how it works, including how to wind a bobbin and thread the machine. Then, you'll learn how to use the machine, including achieving an accurate seam allowance, backstitching, pivoting, and adjusting the speed. Finally, you will put your new skills to use and make a lined drawstring bag. As we make the project together, you'll learn how to use the pattern, proper cutting and pinning techniques, the importance of pressing, and the basics of bag making.
This class is perfect for anyone who has little to no sewing experience as well as those who have not sewn for years and need a good refresher. You will walk away from class with the confidence to continue your sewing journey.
