We just got our second batch of (crochet) Amigurumi kits from Circulo. OMG they are too cute.
First are the two easter kits: Theo and Laura
Then I just couldn't resist bringing in Circulo's It's Nappy Time amigurumi kits: Cub (including its cute little cub booty), Baby Hippo, Baby Koala, Kitty, and Puppy.
These kits include everything you need to make the cute amigurumi except scissors.
I talked in my last email about putting yourself on class waitlists if they're sold out. I can't believe the number of times we went to the waitlists over the last week. We did a lot of shuffling of students trying to keep the classes full for the teacher, and worked with waitlist names to relieve current students of their obligation when they could no longer attend. It's a win-win for everyone. We really do work those waitlists when the need arises so keep putting your name on those lists because we might just get to you.
So how do you get on the waitlist? Go to the class signup on our website. Where you would normally see the "Add to Cart" button, you will see the "Add to Wait List" button if the class has been sold out. Put in your email. (If you've shopped with us before, your info will prefill.) Enter your name and a valid phone number. Make sure all your info is correct and click "Add to Wait List".
A batch of new Learn to Knit and Learn to Crochet classes is back on the schedule starting in February. If you'd like to add a new craft to your repertoire you should sign up soon as these fill up quickly. I talked Annette Blandin into taking over the Learn to Knit classes so I could expand the Learn to Crochet classes to two sessions a day to give those stitchers the opportunity to learn without driving in the evening, and to allow me more time to focus on crochet project classes (starting in March).
We've still got some space left in our Pro-Stitchers Basics and Time to Play workshops this week during our Handi Quilter Van event. Longarming 101 is still sold out, but we've been pulling from the waitlist for a few days so put yourself on there if you interested...you just might get in.
The van shows up Tuesday at 9am and Paul & Scott will then be busy getting all six stations setup and ready for class to start Wednesday morning.
And, NO, I didn't make notes on any of the additional things wanted to say last time but ran out of space, so I'm just making things up this week.
Next time I'll talk about our new Accuquilt Go! Getters club and the upcoming Quilt Rush Shop Hop (see, now I know where my notes are).
If you missed an email, they now appear on our Newsletters page for you to go back and review or easily share with your friends. Look for the Email Newsletters section near the bottom of the page. The Monthly Event Schedule section at the top of the page are the printed class schedules we hand out in the shop (the ones with all the pretty pictures).
Hope to see you soon!
