Why we selected Downtown Vacaville for our shop's location.

Six years ago when our lease in Winters was ending, we decided we needed a larger, single location so we could have all our FUN! under one roof.  But we still wanted to be in a downtown setting so you would have food and other shops to visit within walking distance. For me, Downtown Vacaville was the obvious choice.

Another reason we chose this location are the many events happening in the downtown area that provide entertainment and a sense of community.

This upcoming weekend, April 17-18, Vacaville is hosting their 2nd Annual En Plein Air festival: Friday 2pm-7pm in Town Square and Saturday 9am-2pm in Andrews Park. This festival captures the spirit of both Vacaville's gorgeous landscapes and its art and culture scene. It features local arts organizations, landscape painting demonstrations, artist craft talks, painting workshops, artwork for sale, live music and dance performances, face painting, and an extended Farmer's Market. Tickets for workshops can be purchased on Visit Vacaville's website, but the festival is free. For more info, go to visitvacaville.com.

So whether you're coming to see us for Quilt Rush, to check out En Plein Air, or just happen to be in the area, we hope you take time to explore our Downtown... we've got a lot of great things going on.

Panel Mash Up!

A fun book packed with creative ways to turn fabric panels into dynamic quilts. Co-authored by quilting besties; Gudrun Erla of GE Designs and Doug Leko of Antler Quilt Design, this book features quilt patterns that are fresh, fun, and easy to personalize.
