This quilt is beautiful using Stonehenge or batik type fabrics, or Christmas green and red blocks with a creams and whites for the steps, or Fall fabrics would be gorgeous. Use your imagination and have fun choosing your fabrics. The border looks complicated and yet it is not. After you construct your blocks you cut them apart and move them around then all the leftover fabric you cut off is sewn together to make the border...what could be easier?
